How do I place my order?
Currently we have a store on eBay. Our username is, surprisingly, Basement51 and you can get there by either clicking the store link at the top of the page or by clicking here.
Do you sell more than just the items on eBay?
Yes, we carry virtually any item you would expect to find in a well-stocked game store. If you are interested in an item not featured on our eBay store just contact us either through the eBay “Ask the Seller a Question†function or directly at DrSmith@Basement51.com. Most games and accessories are available at great Basement prices. We will email you with avaialability and pricing information and, if you are interested, you pay quickly and safely through PayPal.
Can I pay by some other means than PayPal?
The Flight of the Phoenix full movie
Currently, we are set up to only accept PayPal. In the future we hope to expand into other methods of payment. If you are purchasing through eBay we also accept checks and money orders. Please see the listing in question for more details.
How long will it take for my order to be processed?
Orders are usually processed in 24 to 72 hours (depending on when in the week you’ve ordered from us.) Special orders may require longer but we will always keep you informed.)
I made a mistake on my order, is it too late to fix it?
If you realize you made a mistake on your order, contact us immediately with “Order Correction†and your name as the subject line. Assuming your order has not already been processed we should be able to cancel it or make the necessary corrections.
But, if your order has already been processed, it will likely be too late for us to make any changes.
How will my order be shipped to me?
Based on what you have ordered, several USPS services will be available to you upon checkout. Priority Mail is the fastest service we offer and postal service predicts an average delivery time of 2 to 3 days.
It’s been a while and I haven’t received my order, what can I do?
Priority Mail orders include free delivery confirmation. Contact us and we can provide you with that confirmation number to determine if the package is still in transit. Please keep in mind the USPS cannot put a trace on a package or insurance refund request until 30 days after the shipping date. This is something that, while exceedingly rare, is completely outside of our control.
USPS says my package was delivered but I don’t have it, now what?
This will seem silly but it has resolved every one of these questions for the past five years…
Check around any side or back doors to your home. Then ask your wife/mom/roommate if they put your package “somewhere safe.†Finally, ask your postal carrier because he is the only one who can log the box “delivered.â€
Can I insure my package?
Yes. Insurance is available and while not required is always recommended. Ghost Town divx The Basement is responsible for your package until it is given to the postal service. While we have every confidence in them and have almost never been let down by their service, the word “almost†is still in there.
Why can’t I get my [product name] shipped via Media Mail?
The USPS offers Media Mail for very items which meet specific criteria. While this service is extremely inexpensive (and highly variable in its delivery time) it is not intended for things like game pieces, metal figures, or toys. Aladdin buy We can send only books or computer media (CD’s, DVD’s) through media mail.
But I’ve had other companies ship my games using Media Mail…
Yes, and they are breaking the law and risking hefty fines. We would prefer to avoid fines that would easily put us out of the business of supplying you with great discount games!
For more on Media mail please refer to the USPS website: http://pe.usps.com/text/dmm300/173.htm
Will you ship to me if I live outside of the
At the moment we are not equipped to handle foreign orders but may be able to expand in that direction soon.
Watch this space for more details.
Will you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
Absolutely. Everyone here at the Basement is proud to supply our troops with everything they need for R&R.
I can’t find something on your website but I know it’s out there somewhere. Can you get it for me?
Always feel free to contact us with special requests and we will do our best to track it down for you. If we can’t get it for you, we’ll let you know pretty quickly. And, if we can… well, lucky you, you’ll be able to order it from us!
What is your return policy?
We accept returns only if we shipped you the wrong item. If what is in your box does not match what was on our invoice that means we made a mistake and we will correct that mistake. Just ship us the mistakenly packed item back to us (in the same condition it was shipped in and with appropriate packing material) and when we receive it will refund your shipping cost to you and ship out the appropriate item along with a severed finger from the person who mis-packed your original order. Items purchased through eBay follow our eBay store return policy.
Are you really going to send me a severed finger in the mail?!?
No, not really. It’s also illegal to mail body parts through the USPS.
